A bit about Taverham Vets
Taverham Veterinary Practice was founded in March 1994 by local boy Roger Bannock at our old site on Fakenham Road (where he was born!) with a staff of just 3. Roger was joined by his friend from University and fellow partner Guy Pitcher 18 months later. Rapid expansion led to two extensions being added on to the surgery before it was again too small to fit us all in. In January 2007 the practice moved to our new “state of the art” purpose-built veterinary surgery on Fir Covert Road opposite the Taverham Garden Centre. The practice now boasts facilities that rival any in East Anglia: an attractive, light and airy architect-designed building of over 600 square metres, with extensive car parking and sympathetic landscaping.

Hydrotherapy for Dogs
Our trained hydrotherapists (who are also qualified Veterinary Nurses), work alongside our fully qualified PHYSIOTHERAPIST and OSTEOPATH to provide the very best rehabilitation care possible. Our hydrotherapy treadmill is the only one in the Norwich region.
The Cat Hotel – Luxury Norwich Cattery
Norfolk’s only luxury cattery led by Veterinary Nurses. The Cat Hotel is a fully licensed boarding cattery near Norwich for healthy cats to stay whenever their owners need a hand, and is located at the Taverham Vets Longwater Lane surgery. As the Cat Hotel is run by caring and experienced professionals, we give you peace of mind that your cat will be left in the very best of hands when you go away.
