A bit about Taverham Vets
Taverham Veterinary Practice was founded in March 1994 by local boy Roger Bannock at our old site on Fakenham Road (where he was born!) with a staff of just 3. Roger was joined by his friend from University and fellow partner Guy Pitcher 18 months later. Rapid expansion led to two extensions being added on to the surgery before it was again too small to fit us all in. In January 2007 the practice moved to our new “state of the art” purpose-built veterinary surgery on Fir Covert Road opposite the Taverham Garden Centre. The practice now boasts facilities that rival any in East Anglia: an attractive, light and airy architect-designed building of over 600 square metres, with extensive car parking and sympathetic landscaping.
The practice is purpose built and winner of the BVHA 2007 “best design” award. The further academic qualifications achieved by our vets are backed up by constant investment in new facilities and equipment at Taverham Vets. Taverham Vets are also proud to be the first veterinary practice in the area to offer laparoscopic procedures for routine operations such as spays.
“A modern and well equipped facility with more post-graduate “RCVS Certificate” vets than any other practice in the region”
